This is a highly-respected IP group and has been steadily expanding as they continue to attract sophisticated work from a wide range of clients.The focus of the work will primarily relate to the preparation and prosecution of patents for domestic and foreign clients while also supporting practice needs in other related areas (e.g., patentability, infringement, validity, and freedom to operate opinions and related analysis; portfolio strategy and management; due diligence).Notably, this is a very team oriented, friendly, and cooperative environment wherein your talent will be matched with opportunity and responsibility. In particular, associates are entrusted with substantial client interaction and must possess excellent interpersonal skills.Here, you will be exposed to a diverse array of electrical and computer related applications (industrial and consumer electronics, analog and digital circuits, RF, WiFi, digital video, wireless telecommunications, network protocols, IEEE standards, network security and protocols, cryptography, artificial intelligence (AI), web and cloud services, etc.)Requirements:

• Minimum BS Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Physics. Prior engineering experience is a plus.
• State bar and USPTO bar.
• Must have at least 1 year of full time claim drafting and patent prosecution experience with a reputable law firm.
• Strong academic credentials.Of Counsel or Partner:If you have a portable book that makes you partially or fully self-sustaining, this could be an outstanding platform within which to integrate your existing portfolio of clients.Since this practice deals with domestic and international clients, dual fluency is not required, however, such fluency in Chinese, Japanese, or Korean would certainly be of value.Additional Notes for Candidates:All fees are paid by client firms and companies.
