Job Description:
Construction Administration Architect
This Construction Administration Architect position is responsible
for performing activities related to the development and
improvement of the contract administration process with emphasis on
efficiency, quality assurance, quality compliance, and rapid
project close-out. Construction administration experience with
high-density, multi-family housing projects of all types (Senior
Housing, Garden-Style Walkups, or Urban Infill) is required.
Required Skills and Abilities include:
?Knowledge of RFIs and ASIs; preparation of revision drawings,
addenda and clarifications; shop drawing review; submittals; site
observation; contractor application for payment; OAC job site
meetings and report preparation; review and certify contractor?s
application for payment; review material test reports; record
changes to contract documents; project closeout procedures
?Current knowledge of California codes and construction
methodologies
?Excellent time-management and problem-solving skills to meet
deadlines and ensure that everything is moving smoothly
?Ability to easily give direction and delegate tasks
?Must possess strong management, leadership and interpersonal
skills
?Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients,
regulatory agencies or members of the business and general
community at large
