The Multi-Modality Rad Tech will be responsible for the operation of both X-Ray and computed tomography equipment. The successful Rad Tech will assist in meeting departmental goals and objectives while ensuring a high level of patient care and safety. As an integral member of the medical imaging department, this Multi-Modality Rad Tech will help create an environment that enables the department to achieve operational success. This position requires the ability to perform at multiple modalities on a regular basis, with emphasis on consistent, high-quality imaging services.
In terms of qualifications, the ideal candidate will possess an associate's degree in radiologic technology, with a Bachelor's degree preferred, as well as three years of technical experience. The ideal candidate will hold Radiologic Tech licensure in California, ARRT certification, and have CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. While certification in two additional advanced modalities—such as Computed Tomography (CT), Mammography (M), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), or Sonography (S)—is preferred, it is not required.
