provinces.Position OverviewLead and manage various aggregate,
ready-mix, and asphalt production sites in all aspects of safety,
operations, sales, finance, equipment and critical support
functions. Work closely with General Manager to ensure effective
execution of company operational goals and growth strategies. This
position will support all operating companies within the Northern
California Subregion.Location: This position will support multiple
OpCo's in Sonoma and Marin County.Compensation & Company

(Essential Duties and Functions)
- Promote a safe work environment for all employees; work with
safety and field personnel to minimize risk and increase safety for
employees at all times.
- Responsible for daily operations including safe production,
quality, customer focus and maintaining the integrity of the safety
and environmental systems within the company's operations for
ready-mix, asphalt and aggregate production locations.
- Ensure all required permitting is accurate and up to date
within area of responsibility.
- Generate and manage the operating budget for the fiscal year
under the direction of the General Manager.
- Provide leadership and direction to ensure efficiency, quality,
service, and cost-effective management of all product
resources.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational
performance and productivity.
- Help establish production's Key Performance Indicators (KPI's),
interpret, and apply key financial indicators to make better
business decisions.
- Build strong internal relationships, ensuring continuous
collaboration delivering efficiencies and superior customer
satisfaction.
- Manage and report on the performance of the function/business
area; set appropriate performance objectives for direct reports and
hold them accountable for achieving these; take appropriate
corrective action where necessary to ensure the achievement of
annual business objectives.
- Identify the capabilities needed to meet the current and
emerging business needs of a significant business area. Evaluate
current capabilities, identify gaps, and prioritize development
activities. Motivate others to develop their capabilities and
fulfill their personal potential. Build capabilities elsewhere in
the organization through mentoring and other informal methods.
- Monitor/control production through direction of the site
managers to ensure safe production, on schedule, and within budget;
investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective
measures.
- Work with General Manager to establish long-range goals,
strategies, plans, and policies.
- Communicate professionally, timely, clearly, and concisely to
all levels of employees through various media (verbally, email,
text, etc.).
- Regularly attend and be an active, positive contributor to
various business and management meetings.
- Promote a diverse and inclusive work environment.
- Other duties as may be assigned.Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, or related is
required.
- Experience with permitting and compliance in the state of
California highly desired.
- Experience in Asphalt and Mining highly desired.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Must pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and criminal
background check.
- Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as
outlined per company policy.
- Must be willing to travel and work away from home as
needed.
- Individuals are required to wear personal protective equipment
(PPE) in designated operations and production areas as stated by
