The Opportunity:You will be joining a team of passionate, analytic and data-driven people who partner with stakeholders at a local, regional and global level to support data-driven decision-making. Global Market Insights Functional Partner for Oncology, you will be the point of contact for the Pathology Lab Customer Area (PLCA), Roche Enterprise Multiple Cancer Screening (REMCS), and Roche Information Systems (RIS) to support global business needs for market and customer insights. Your disease area focus will allow you to take a cross-technology perspective when addressing the diagnostic oncology space. You will need to manage a variety of stakeholders and collaborate closely with your peers within Global Market Insights, Strategic Insights and across the Customer Areas. Your content expertise and seniority will allow you to act as a strategic business partner and proactively engage the business to prioritize key questions for market and customer insights. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Market Updates: Regularly update leadership (LCT, eLCC, eIBT) on market dynamics, including size, growth, competitive tactics, and product launches.
  • Identify Opportunities: Advise stakeholders on blind spots and areas for further investigation.
  • Support GMI Oncology Team: Prioritize resources, coach team members on development, and ensure effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Manage Market Research: Maintain visibility into market research and competitive intelligence; promote efficient use aligned with stakeholder needs.
  • Collaborate with Partners: Work with Global Market Insights partners to align on shared interests and enhance collaboration.
  • Lead Strategic Projects: Conduct ad hoc projects addressing key market topics with cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee Market Forecasts: Ensure accurate market models and forecasts, aligning with business plans and understanding competitive positioning.Who You Are:
    • Science degree
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in Business Development, Consulting or Investment banking with a focus on healthcare preferredPreferred Qualifications:
      • Strong leadership skills in cross-functional teams and ability to successfully lead projects in such a setting
      • Experience presenting to and discussing issues with business leadership teams (e.g. DLT; SO; CA Heads; LCLs; IBLs)
      • Master's degree, MBA or Ph.D. in business or the life sciences preferred
      • Experience in the life sciences, pharmaceutical or medical device industries preferred; diagnostics experience strongly preferred.
      • Content knowledge of the relevant subject area is an asset
      • Established knowledge of the Roche Diagnostics organization and strong personal network across different teams within the company will be an asset
      • Demonstrated ability of promoting a culture of trust and support with high emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills

Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
