• Full-Time & Part-Time LVN/LPN
• Compensation: $40.00/HourAbout the Role:As a Charge Nurse at Belmont Village, you will oversee and manage clinical and care aspects of the community while supporting the Director of Nursing in wellness initiatives, regulatory compliance, and quality monitoring. You will coordinate and communicate with healthcare practitioners, ancillary providers, pharmacies, family members, and staff as needed, ensuring timely clinical interventions and follow-up. You will also provide direct supervision, guidance, and coaching to our Medication Technicians and Caregivers using your leadership and supervisory experience.Typical Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of the community Wellness Center.
  • Follow up on physicians' orders, coordinate services with ancillary providers, and report to physicians and families any changes of condition or other pertinent clinical care information.
  • Provide medication administration to an assigned group of residents according to physicians' orders and report any adverse reactions or clinical observations, documenting as necessary.
  • Ensure resident care and service plans are followed by overseeing the tasks of Medication Technicians and care providers.
  • Make appropriate situational decisions and manage conflict in a positive and constructive manner.
  • Update and review resident medical records, clinical documentation, and incident reports.Requirements:
    • Active LVN or LPN license in the state where this community is located.
    • CPR Certified or ability and willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
    • Able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
    • Ability to work the defined schedule, which may include weekends and holidays.
    • Intermediate computer and mobile device skills.Preferred Skills and Characteristics:
      • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to critically think and problem-solve in stressful or urgent situations.
      • Dependable and self-directed with strong organizational and time management skills.
      • Strong leadership and supervisory abilities, adept at guiding and directing teams.
      • Works with a sense of urgency while paying close attention to detail.
      • More than one year of medication management experience.
