RoleWe are looking to expand the technical skills of our alliance
team. This role will engage with all segments of the Prophecy
alliance ecosystem, including our strategic cloud and solution
integration (SI) partners along with our technology or OEM
partners.As an Alliance Solutions Engineer, you will network and
build relationships with the technical roles within our partners,
assist with the recruitment and enablement of new solution partners
while providing Prophecy technical expertise throughout the
Prophecy ecosystem via sales presentations, product demonstrations,
and new joint solution development.You Will
- Work alongside the alliance team to introduce Prophecy to our
potential partners. As a trusted advisor, you will help educate
these partners on the unique capabilities of Prophecy and design
solutions to meet a wide variety of challenges.
- Be a key advisor on any GTM or technical program development
aimed at the Prophecy alliance community.
- Lead the technical enablement efforts across the Prophecy
alliance ecosystem, developing new enablement strategies and
content when needed.
- Lead product and solution briefings, run live product demos,
build partner proof-of-concepts (POC) and devise potential Prophecy
integrations.
- Be deeply connected to our partners desired business outcomes
and clearly articulate how Prophecy can help them achieve those
outcomes.
- Support the Prophecy product management and engineering teams
effort to build and integrate new partner functionality into the
Prophecy platform
- Identify and address partner's key technical objections and
develop the engineering strategy to resolve those blockers to
adoption.
- Assist on technical projects in adjacent teams including
tactical competitive intelligence, value-oriented demos and website
content (e.g. videos, blogs).The ExpectationsIn your first 30 days,
you will immerse yourself in Prophecy and our partner and sales
motion. We believe that it's important for you to take this first
month to become familiar with our company, technology and
message.During this time you will participate on partner and
customer calls while building relationships with various teams at
Prophecy. As you gain confidence in the message and technology, you
will be called upon to lead meetings with support from the
team.After a month, you should be ready to lead partner enablement
sessions without support. You should be working closely with the
Partner team to build regional go-to-market strategies and account
plans for key partners. You will need the flexibility to travel to
meet partners, customers, attend events or conferences or wherever
the work takes you.You Have:
- 5-7+ years of experience as an alliance or sales engineer or
similar role.
- Extensive experience collecting requirements, developing
solution architectures, leading presentations and teaching
prospective users or project teams how to use software similar to
Prophecy.
- Developed software, worked with Apache Spark, pipeline/ETL
integrations in the past and want to stay close to the code.
- Working knowledge of SQL and data processing
- A passion for working on complex technical problems and have a
strong understanding of how to transform and modernize prospects'
data pipelines on a large scale
- Previous experience in a technical customer-facing role and a
strong ability to build relationships with our partners, customers,
and open-source users.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and GCP infrastructure (cloud
solution associate certification preferred)
- Flexibility to work with our alliance ecosystem globally, which
may mean a call outside of normal business hours.Benefits and Perks
