About the Role:As a Hardware Quality Engineer at Hinge Health,
you will be instrumental in enhancing our cutting-edge hardware
products. You'll lead initiatives from post-market surveillance to
failure analysis, interfacing with cross-functional teams including
R&D, Quality Assurance, and Manufacturing to ensure our
products meet the highest safety and reliability standards. Your
specialized knowledge in quality engineering will drive innovation
and efficiency in our processes, while maintaining high quality and

expertise.What You'll Accomplish:
- Conduct and document thorough investigations into product
failures, identifying root causes
- Develop and implement failure analysis procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and correct
failure modes
- Prepare detailed reports for engineering leadership
- Use advanced tools for failure diagnosis and
problem-solving
- Improve analysis processes and stay updated on industry
trends
- Manage complaint investigation workload and ensure
documentation complianceHinge Health Hybrid ModelWe believe that

3 days/week.Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering,
Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or a related
field
- 2+ years of professional experience in failure analysis,
reliability engineering, CAPA quality engineering, post-market
surveillance, or related roles
- 1+ year of professional experience investigating issues,
driving creative problem-solving, and effectively documenting
findings, with a strong understanding of quality records
requirements and documentation
- Professional experience with failure analysis tools such as
scanning electron microscopes (SEM), X-ray analysis, or other
diagnostic equipment
- Professional experience conducting root cause investigations
using quality management tools such as 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams,
Is/Is Not analysis, and fault tree analysisPreferred
Qualifications:
- Experience in a cross-functional team environment managing
multiple priorities
- Professional background in medical devices or other regulated
industries
- Experience working in Quality Management Systems designed to
21CFR820, ISO 13485, or ISO 9001CompensationThis position will have
an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual
salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will
vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level,
competencies, and work location. The annual salary range for this
