• Create high-quality Android experiences by deeply understanding customer needs and quickly translating insights into mockups, wireframes, and proof-of-concept code.
• Translate design (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, PDFs, and PNGs) into working Android code.
• Quickly mock out server-side dependencies to accelerate development. Knowledge of server-side development processes, tools, and technology is a plus.
• Work collaboratively with AI experts and integrate AI into existing systems, leveraging expertise and guidance as needed.
• Propose AI solutions that can be applied to a variety of problems.Intuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay-for-performance rewards approach. The expected base pay range for this position is Bay Area California $161,500 - $219,000. This position will be eligible for a cash bonus, equity rewards, and benefits, in accordance with our applicable plans and programs (see more about our compensation and benefits at ). Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing pay equity for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender.Minimum Requirements
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or related area or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience and ability to develop, maintain, and innovate large-scale, consumer-facing mobile applications.
  • Experience with modern Android technologies like Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Android SDK.
  • Experience in the Software design/architecture process.
  • Experience with web services (consuming or creating) with REST or SOAP.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to different audiences.
  • Proficiency in the Software design/architecture process and experience with unit testing and Test Driven Development (TDD).
  • Possess basic understanding of AI concepts and foundations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with AI experts and integrate AI into existing systems as needed, with guidance.
  • Familiarity with data and metrics required for building and evaluating AI models.
  • Conversant with AI Native principles and able to apply them to software development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively about AI solutions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including AI experts and stakeholders.
  • Ability to keep up-to-date with the latest trends and advances in AI technology and incorporate them into software development practices.
