• Proven hands-on network engineering experience
• Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model
• Deep understanding of incident management and troubleshooting with SLA adherence.
• Deep understanding of networking routing protocols (e.g., Static, BGP, OSPF)
• Deep understanding of VLAN, HSRP, VRRP, STP, VTP, VSS, VLS, VPC802.11, QoS, Ether-Channel
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Nexus and HPE network devices (e.g., routers, switches)
• Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools
• Hands-on experience with Cisco and Aruba Wireless Controllers and Access Points
• Deep understanding of Clear Pass, 802.1x, Radius, TACACS
• Deep understanding and hands-on experience with IPsec and Remote VPN
• Deep understanding of Cisco, Palo Alto, FortiGate, Check Point firewalls (e.g., Firewall Mode, Access Rules, HA, NAT-PAT)
• Basic understanding of IPS, IDS, SRF, FMC for Cisco security
• Basic understanding of DNS, DHCP, LDAP
• Basic understanding of LAN topology (e.g., Copper-Fiber Cable, Copper-SFP Module, Cascade, Switch Stack)
• Basic understanding of WAN topology (e.g., P2P, Ethernet Link, MPLS, VRF)
