Job Description:
A company is looking for a Temporary, Billing Reimbursement
Specialist I who will be responsible for reconciling medical claims
and collecting revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Increase cash flow and reduce bad debt through effective claim
management
Manage appeals and denials based on payer guidelines in a timely
manner
Investigate denied services and take appropriate actions to resolve
issues
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma at minimum required
1 year of experience in A/R, Billing, insurance, or healthcare;
laboratory insurance billing preferred
Working knowledge of coding systems such as CPT, ICD-10, and
HCPCS
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and other necessary
software
Hands-on experience in medical billing and reimbursement
